Enable logging in the SafeNet Authentication Client
This guide describes how users can
enable logging in the
SafeNet Authentication Client. The goal is to save log files and, if necessary, forward them to support for troubleshooting purposes. Logging means that the client generates
log files documenting
processes,
system events, and
potential errors related to the use of
USB tokens.
The logs do not contain sensitive data such as passwords or PINs, but rather technical information about authentication processes, timestamps, and system status.
Open the SafeNet Authentication Client
Step 1: Open the SafeNet Authentication Client via the Start menu. You will then see the following overview:
Open Advanced View
Step 2: Click the gear icon in the top right corner to switch to the advanced view.

Step 4: Select the Advanced tab:
Step 5: Enable the option Enable Logging:
Step 6: The activation takes effect after restarting the logged-in application.
